The mcdermott stinger break cue would probably be the best bang for you buck. If you want to spend 40 more dollars you could get a Pechauer break cue and they are some of the best breakers in my opinion. If you contact ceebee I believe he still has one for sale.

Players HXT Break/jump. Thing hits like a hammer. I tested one out after I bought a BK3, and regretted buying the BK3.
I use an Elite break cue, it's a 21 oz cue. It was about $90.00 at my local billiards supply store.

He's right I bought my brother one of those lucky brand cues from mcdermott and paid to have a break tip on it for my brother in law.. I think a samsara. It breaks like a bomb going off.

True. I just love the Pechauer jump cue so I decided to have separate cues because I believe they function better when they are made for one purpose. But a lot of people don't have to space or the money. I know I am still working on putting my arsenal together because its not the cheapest.
A friend of mine bought the Rage break cue. 25oz. $50. I play with a 19.7oz cue, so 25oz seemed crazy. I don't have much experience with break cues but this Rage break cue breaks very well. Perhaps I just like a heavy cue. I know of another custom break cue maker that swears by 18oz break cues.

I personally like a Players jump/break with the brown phenolic tip/ferrule. Actually there's no tip. Although they are not available in that combination a good cue repair shop can hook you up. You'll have about $150-170 finished. I've owned several higher end j/BS and this combination is affordable and my personal preference
