Good cues for kids

We started a juniors league. The operator has decided to return all proceeds to the kids by giving them their own cue. Does anyone know of an inexpensive cue that is not total junk? I would imagine there is $100 or less to spend per child, but am not sure.

I was looking at the Lucky cues by McDermott but have had no experience with them. Also if anyone has a line on a bulk order of something decent, I’ll certainly look into it.

I have a Lucky ($105) and it's a decent stick. I think my Schmelkes are better. My Valhalla ($75) was decent, maybe not as good as the Lucky, but it might have been the new cue effect. The joint on the Valhalla started slipping, I can't tell if its the insert in the shaft or the pin that is moving. Schmelke did have a bit of a lead time on the last cue I ordered from them. It probably took 6-8 weeks. That's not bad unless you think your cue is coming in 4 weeks. They also had a problem with their automated order confirmation that never gave me a confirmation email. It's a good stick at a good price and the wait wasn't too long but the mystery part was annoying. I would still buy more from them.

I've got a Players cue for my Daughter which is AWESOME! (Also fantastic "Short spot" cue for a home room with a tight corner or rail!

Bought a 1pc Cuetec which she also loves (cuz it has a thinner handle, great for smaller kids hands).

And Next I'll be buying a McD for our Son (down the road though).

I bought a few 42" to 52" inch ones from Ozone .. some at good sale. I am assuming you were looking for shorter cues for the kids.

Also to add .. kudos for getting kids into the game early.

Sizes for references...

48" = Cuetec & 52" for Players 2Pc.

Thanks for the replies. I am looking for some short and some full length. My son, for example has the shorter ozone cue but he is really tall for his age and now plays with a normal length cue. I’ll check into some of these. Thanks agaij
