Any good sites with good photos of nice and trendy pool clubs ? Preferable not just the table area but also the lounge etc. Would be interesting to see different pool clubs around the world.

www.common-room.co.uk

Thats where i play, its the only place in my city with decent tables. Its ok during the afternoons but its impossible to play in there at night, its gets just to busy. If you click on music there are some photos on there. Really nice decor and a great place to just go drinking, its just not the greatest pool room in the world.

Well since you asked?

just click on Atlanta...;-)

Here are pics from my favorite and my league home Mr Cues II in Atlanta!

That's a nice place. I especially like the way they have the tournament/league tables blocked off from the rest of the room to cut down on traffic. Joyner was hanging out there the last time I was there; does he live in the area?

Yes it is...

:) Yes Cliff Joyner lives here and along with The Mens World Champ Johnny Archer and two of the top 10 Womans Champs along with about 15 of the top hundred ranked amatuer players  all can be found here on any given night! :)

What to click on, no link on your message that I can find.

The "in Atlanta" in the first post and the.. Johnny Archer" in the second!!!!

Thanks, easy enough when u know what word to click. duh
Now I need to know the web designer and if he works long distance.
Here is ours although after seeing that room I am not too sure I should post but I did it before so if you missed it
fasteddysbilliards.com
Type it in yourself don't know how to do links

Well first off to make a link in a post highlight the word you want the link to be and then copy the address you want to link to! then click on the picture of the globe in the top of the post window that has a chain linked through it and when the new window opens just paste the address into it! as far as the website designer call the number listed for mr cues and ask for Richard (owner) or Anita (manager) tell them that Phil C referred you! Peace and good Luck with your endeavor

My favourite pool parlour...

http://www.sphericalarts.com/

The tables are extraordinary antiques and the food is wonderful... a bit pricey though.

Here is some pics of a room I built about 8 yrs ago in Winter Park, FL (Made the cover of P & B Mag and that's the closest I'll ever be to that cover) :)

I think the girl in the red & green has to be from New Orleans. Nice looking pool room. Be there in a couple of weeks.

I remember seeing this web page before, David. But apparently I didn't pay enough attention. It is quote nice with all of the info on provenance. If my wife went to this pool hall, she might finally concede that all pool room are not necessarily, "a BAR". LOL

It's quote nice, as you say, Joey (and I quote).

It is indeed a high class establishment and the food is as impressive as the pool and billiard tables... They had alligator and blackened catfish on the menu the last time I was there so it would be right up your alley...

JoeyA if your around on a Thursday you may run into Johnny Archer call ahead and they can generaly tell you if he will be there. There's a good turnament on Monday night's aswell.A-D players Friday's C-D players only.
