Man i love this cue. is Model number L-2004NB it came with a used shaft and a brand new one. Both have the unilock shaft design. I played my last game with it last night and it hits better then i could have ever imagined. The butt of the cue is flawless and the Linen wrap is perfect. the cue was 3 weeks old when i bought it and only played with for one week. But it looks like the used shaft could have been from a different Lucasi cause its a lil discolored and the Furell has some chalk stains on it. but the other shaft which im not gonna use anytime soon has never neen used or chalked. I get so much more control with the cue ball then with my Grafite Minnesota fats cue (yea i know its cheap but i got 2 of the same ones, plus it was my first cue and i paid $50 for both). I cant wait till i get back from down the shore this weekend so i can play again with it.

Lucasi makes a great cue for the dollar. I love the look of the LE3 model. Simple yet elegant. Enjoy your new cue.

Yes that is a verry nice cue. i like the way they design their cues. they are a lil more likign to my taste then any other brand i have found yet.

It does seem the Lucasi is reasonably priced. I dont personally have one but i know a lot of people who love theirs.

Predator makes a shaft that fits the Lucasi, too, if you ever want to go in that direction.

I am glad that you like your new cue.

Just out of curiosity, how is it balanced? Front, mid or back?

My Lucasi was butt heavy when I first got it. Carried it around for a year with very litlle use and was considering trading it off. I took the weight bolt out cut off about 3/4 of it (couldn't take it out completely because the the rubber screws into the end of it).

Last year I got a Lucasi jump/break and though it is a heavy stick it is balanced more evenly than my shooting cue was, but still weighted more in the back.

Laura,

For me personaly i think the cue is balanced really well. i don't like light cues cause i feel i dont have total control over it. it doesn't feel butt heavy at all it seems all the weight is on my cue is at aboutt he last 1/2 of the linen wrap where my hand usualy is. Hope that helps a bit.

Well lastnight i decided to go to the pool hall at around 10PM after getting up at 9 and driving 80 miles to do yard work. Me and 2 friends unloaded 3 medium sized dumptrucks of sandstone into my freinds bosses back yard with 2 wheelbarrels from the front of his driveway. so i was feeling pretty tired at 10pm. But i played the best pool i have played in a while. I played 3 of my friends who work at the pool hall. the first one i played is the best shooter i have seen in person. and he beat me 3 games to 2. then the next one isnt that good of a pool player but he has a strong defence. If he cant make the shot he will leave me with none. I beat him 4 games to 1. then comes Big Lou. Big Lou is just like his name. BIG. hes about 6'5" and over 275. but he is one hell of a pool player. He is the one that helps me with my game. I played him 7 games and he beat me 4 to 3. afterwards he was syaying how he has seen me progress and with a lil more practice i will be just as good or better then Anthony the frist kid i played. I can go on and on about his game and how solid he is all around but i think i said enough.

Chuck.

PS sorry for the lil story i just like talking about pool.
