I hear Marty Free lost his shit again and finally got barred. I think hell finally froze over. It's bullshit it took this long but at least it's done. Don't know who's running the tourneys now but it has to be better. Maybe I'll start going back there now.

I read through the other thread

Another tournament director with a god complex and a gun? Sounds like the douche we have here. Our guy runs the best 8 player tournaments in the area! Seems like there's a lot of these egomaniacs are drawn to running tournaments. I blame the stupid room owners who let them run events like they do. People would rather burn their money than hand it over to an arrogant jerk. Players will just go somewhere else or just not play.

I wasn't at the pool room for that incident but the kid that he supposedly threatened isn't a complete stand up guy. I've gambled and been around Marty numerous times and he always got great turn outs for his tournaments. Just because one person post his opinion on someone doesn't mean everyone should follow along bashing the guy without having any dealings with him. Dave and Marty are around each other all the time and I've never seen any animosity between the two.
