graphite - fiberglass cue is sticky

i just bought a cue with a graphite and fiberglass coating a few weeks ago, and it is becoming extremely sticky. I can wipe it off, and that helps, but only for a very short time. Is there anything i can do to help this situation, im thinking about trying to return it, and get a wood cue, but im not sure if i will be able to return it. thanks for the help

by all means return it...i hate playin with a fiber or some type of composite cue....it just doesn't feel right...but if you can't return it...the best you can do is wear a glove.
