Planning on a fund raiser for nice guy from our league that was diagnosed with lung cancer. We are planning a scotch doubles tourney with half the pot going to our friend.

Now, we have an extra table not part of the tournament. Please share some ideas that would be good for the challenge table (7 foot Valley) to raise some more funds and be fun enough that folks will give it a go.

Or we could do 2 different challenges with the person indicating which one they are going for ? Thus, surely someone will like one of the games and donate a few bucks.

I'm open to any and all ideas. Remember there are no dumb answers, only dumb guys on the internet looking for help ;)

Bullseye Billiards

Some of these types of target games could be found on YouTube or google.

Skills Game

Pick out three easy ones.
Opponents take there Shot in turn on Target #1
Measure the distance to the center of each shot.
Have all contestants shot #1.

Then do Target #2
Measure distance to the center of Target.

Then do Target #3
Measure to center.

Total shortest combined measurement wins.

People watching can see the closeness and will cheer when the shot is getting closer to center.

But no one will be sure of the winner until the totals are announced.
***Keep the totals secret until the end.***

I've never tried this, RJ, but I might for our league nights.
APA 2/3/4s get to break at nine-ball...
.....skill level 5/6/7s get to break ten-ball...

...if they make a ball on the break, they draw a number...1 to 9 or 1 to 10...
..if they draw a number that matches one of the balls they make....
...they win half of a 50-50 pot.

$50 each pot can be drawn from the tournament prize money....
...if the pot exceeds the added money, take it back for the next contest...
...if nobody wins a final pot, the charity gets it all.

Keep the ticket price low

You could have a 3 ball tourney on that table. 3 rounds with low score the winner. Ties either split the pot or have a play-off. Play 3 rounds which go fast; so you could have more than one.

Or you could have a ring game.
