Great fleamarket find on house cues. $2 ea.

Found a great deal on 2 house cues at a flea market in the area. $2 each. They have black ferrules and no markings on them. The look and feel really nice. Going to clean them up and put some new tips on them and add them to the pool room house cue collection.
Never seen a cue with a black ferrule. Looks pretty cool actually.

At one time many house cues had black fiber ferrules.

Yeah. You don't see many these days, but some of the older cues used to have them. If I'm remembering correctly, break cues often had black ferrules.

Yeah, I've got a few really old Valley Bar cues that have black ferrules. Used to be common to see them, but not anymore.

Damn, Makes you feel kinda old when the guys in their 20's & 30's say they've never seen something that you remember being commonplace!
