I just caught Shannon on the fly... he didn't have all the info because he was just walking off the golf course... :rolleyes: :p

The tournament held at The Palace (nice little action spot) in Greenville, SC finished like this...

1. Shannon Daulton
2. Hennesse
3. Gabe Owen
4. Stevie Moore
5/6 Bill Bailey & Helena Thornfeldt
7/8 Ron Parks & Mike Gulyassy

Shannon apologizes for not having the rest of the info but as I stated... I kinda caught him off guard. He does know that Archer finished in the 9/12 bracket... Shannon def Archer 6-2 and Stevie Moore def Archer 4-0

They had 40 players and generated $8500 in the player auction! :eek:

Next month they will be at Jimmy Hodges place in Greenville again... I believe it's been re-named to Sporty's (formerly Gametime).

I think I see one little thing that Shannon forgot.

Ron Park put Mike Gulyassy out in the 9-12 bracket, so Mike finished 9-12. Ron finished 7-8 with Tony Watson. Tony beat Scott Rabon in the 9-12 bracket, putting Scott in a 9-12 finish. Then Gabe ran the set out on Tony, so I think Tony would have finished 7-8 with Ron.

Helena beat Billy Tyler with 8 left on the winner's side, then Gabe beat Billy to put him out in the 9-12 bracket. I think the finishers were:

1) Shannon Daulton
2) Jon Hennessee
3) Gabe Owen
4) Stevie Moore
5/6) Bill Bailey & Helena Thornfeldt
7/8) Ron Park & Tony Watson
9/12) Johnny Archer, Scott Rabon, Billy Tyler, Mike Gulyassy

Again, this was a great tournament. Shannon always draws a good field, and there are a couple of Stakehorse/Player Auction folks who always make the Player Auction an investment that could pay off big time.

Speaking of Sporty's, Jimmy Hodges was at the tournament all weekend. Many know how good Jimmy used to play. He says that he is practicing again, and will start to play some of the tournaments around the area. With Jimmy's renewed interest in the game, I'm sure Sporty's will be in good shape for the tournament next month.

Mike, thanks for the correction! In the future I'm going to try to get some live updates through out the wkend from Shannon during these events. It'll be a little tricky on the wkends that I go out of town and there's no wireless service. We'll try to work it out to get some better updates on these events. They're always going to draw names that people are interested in hearing about.

Glad to hear Jimmy has decided to start shooting again... been a long time since I've seen him shoot... I wonder if he still has the same stance? :p
 
Thanks Mike and Timberly for the info. I was going to go up there for the event, but got a little sidetracked. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to say hi to you both in person too. Anyway, hope all is well with you both and thanks again!
