Greetings to you CK. Is this Chester Krick? Sorry for my confusion, but your name is not actually on your new website anywhere!

If you have not already been there you should check out the "Ask The Cuemaker" sub-forum specifically for cuemakers.

The new shaft is interesting. I cannot tell however from your description if it is flat or radially laminated.

Yes, this is Chester. howdy.
The new Impact 254 shaft is neither radially nor flat laminated. It is a modified butterfly design, with opposing grain and a inner core of lightweight, and extremely strong materials.
I have posted some of the Dallas reviews today on ckcues.com.
