Grizzly Band saw users

I remember some of you mentioned that you had a Grizzly
Band-Saw
I have the 17" model Here is the problem

Is it just me and i put something together wrong,
or is it not possible on this saw to put the rip fence
on the right hand side of the blade ?

Mine's a 16"..........if I want to put the fence on the right side of the blade, I have to install the blade first and then slide the fence on.

My model (14" deluxe) is left hand side only as well.

Mark,
I have the 14" Model# G0555. The fence will go on either side just by lifting
it off and positioning to the other side.
