Grizzly mill opinions needed

I've been looking for a milling machine for a dedicated point cutter and ran across this one on grizzly's website. It looks like a nice little machine for the price but I would like to hear some opinions before I pull the trigger. Grizzly told me that they won't have any available until the end of march so if anybody has some suggestions about this one or any other in the price range I would like to hear them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

For just $150 more for the G1006, you'd be getting twice the machine as what you are considering.
Your G0704 spins at 2250RPM while the G1006 spins at 3,000.
The G0704 'claims' 1hp yet states 3.2A draw. That's actually closer to 1/2hp.
Table size on both is adequate as is the travel.
'Swing' is different on these machines and that's a BIG difference.
Half of the swing is the amount of maximum distance btwn the spindle and the column. That's where all of your point fixture will reside, behind the spindle.
There is 5" more max. spindle to table distance with the G1006.
The G1006 weighs twice as much as the G0704. Which would you think is the more solid machine?
To me, for only $150 diff., it's a no-brainer.

One of the reasons that I liked the grizzly was because of the weight factor, if I ever had to move it around I wouldn't be stuggling as much. Another was the digital readout. I know it's not as heavy duty as the other mill but if it was just for points I figured it was powerful enough. I also have my eye on a knuth mill but I don't have experience with either machines. I've included a link below to the knuth and can pick this one up locally. Any suggestions would be greatlt appreciated. Thanks again.

There's only 2 things that put me off to this machine.
Otherwise, it's very similar to the bigger Grizzly that I pointed out to you.

It has a tapered spindle receiver and not R8. The use of collets makes for more accurate machining.
It has even lower max RPMs than the first machine you showed me (2,080?).
BUT....it is belt drive and you may be able to tweak the pulleys to give you higher speed.

Other than that, all it's numbers are good. Even it's wght. Lol.
