The only one who can catch Efren if he loses is Immonen but his winning % is too low. So Morris will meet Efren tomorrow for the big one.:D

I've been watching this tournament online and it was well worth the money. I'll pick Morris to win the whole thing, but that's just a sentimental pick as I'm going with the American no matter what. :) ...........Marc

the smilin' Hawaiin assassin v.s. the Hustlin' Magician

Why the "Hustlin" Magician, you ask? Well, if you read the article in the recent BD article featuring Efren, you might have come away with the impression that he was ready to retire to the rocking chair and let all those young Filipino hotshots take over....I seem to recall he himself saying how old and tired he felt, along with bemoaning the pressure of "most everybody expecting him to win every tournament" he enters....gosh, I think I was even beginning to feel sorry for the old guy......and now, here he is, in his 3rd straight IPT Finals.....I guess I'll have to hold back the tears a little longer........What a great tournament this has been....what especially tickled me was the accomplishments of Nick Varner and Danny Harriman....also the showings of Larry Nevel , Charles Bryant, and Jason Kirkwood....not to mention how the Europeans have impressed and opened my eyes .....special kudos to the Germans and the Brits.....and Congratulations to all these great players......!

yea, it's been real fun watching online. Rodney by far is the most relaxed and fluid player there. But if I were he, I'd be looking over my shoulder at Mr Reyes. Efren has taken down EVERY big money event that has come along to date. To bet against him would a bad idea in my book.

My sentimental favorite is Rodney, my rent would be on Efren. I cannot think of 2 nicer guys, and great players that I would like to see in the finals.

is it 1 oclock yet?!:D
