I've often heard of sharpshooting poolplayers likened to gunslingers of the Old West; especially those roadplayers who roll into town and challenge the best shooters around......
Well, has anyone ever noticed some of the best shooters around seem to have names that might have come from the old Wild West cowboy days? Here's a list of my examples....1st group (definitely) 2nd group (could be)
1st group: Cole Dickson. Shannon Daulton, Corey Deuel, Shane Van Boening,
Dallas West, Wade Crane/Billy Johnson, Lee Van Corteza
2nd group: Buddy Hall, Johnny Archer, Keith McCready, Earl Strickland, Grady Matthews,
C.J. Wiley, J.R.Calvert, Truman Hogue, Gabe Owen, Jeremy Jones,
Danny Harriman, Troy Frank
Can you think of any others?
