Hi,
Best room in Halifax is actually in Dartmouth (sister city across the harbour). Shannon 8-ball, 451 Windmill Road. Has 10 - 9 footers and the better players hang out there. $5 all you can play.
Other places are Locas Billiards in Halifax. Downtown on Doyle Street. 5 - 9 foot Gold Crowns, Friday night 9-ball tournaments.
Then there are a bunch of Dooley's with 9 footers, but most are covered in fuzzy cloth and have loose pockets.
