Hall of Fame

To give this new HOF the credibility it needs, why not let living Hall of Famers also be part of the selection process?

Also, maybe to give it a truly international flavor, it could be patterned after the UN with a permanent councilmember each from Europe, North America, South America, and Asia.

Undoubtly there are people in the HOF that deserve to be there. But it just might be, that there are numerous people outside of the HOF that should be there, sooner or later. Apparently Strickland will be one of the first controversial players to be inducted... what I've understood is that there are people in BCA who don't like Pearl and that's why his induction has been postponed year after year. I really appreciate players like Ewa Laurance who have been inducted, but it seems to me that Pearl should've been there long time ago. Also, I understand that you need to be over certain age to get into HOF...

What goes with entertainers and special characters, I think Minnesota Fats aka Rudolf Wanderone was one of them. I think he was also a gambler. That's why I don't see why he was inducted and many other characters weren't.
