I am looking to buy a new cue and am from the So. Cal area but am trying to find about the different cuemakers in the area that still build their cue completely by hand using a pantograph(correct tool name?), as in no cnc. Im willing to spend anywhere from a few hundred for a up and coming maker to 2k+ for a cue from a well known maker. I currently have 5 tim padgett cues and am always looking for more if someone has one that the would be willing to part with. I also have a pretty much brand new coker, only used at home, from 98 I think, with 3 high and 3 low points, with red and black veneers, ebony up top and curly maple below veneers and on the butt below the wrap. It also has a full ivory joint. I would be willing to trade this with cash for a cue. I am also not adverse to someone offering a tascarella for sale :). Sorry, no pic at the moment, its finals week up her in cal poly and cue stick is back at home.

I would go with Ned Morris!!!!!
There are plenty of cuemakers in So Cal. Where do you live? I'll recomend some. The hands on viewing the work in progress with the cuemaker would be nice.
But do remember as the Cuemakers say:
Don't be a "lathe lizzard". :D
