Hanging pool table lamp

I just bought a like new AMF Playmaster Hanover for $400 :)

I'm not ready to set it up yet because I jumped on the deal without my room being set up yet. So now I'm thinking about how to get the room setup.

There's a ceiling fan directly over where the pool table will be. What I envision doing is taking down the ceiling fan and get a lightweight inexpensive lamp like one of these.

Instead of drilling into the cieling, I'd like to try to have the chains angled up toward the center spot into each side of some kind of concoction I'll have to come up with (kinda like what a cieling fan shaft fits into on the ceiling, but no ceiling fan). I realize the lamp will tend to twist more this way, but I don't care.

These lamps say 110 volts. Aren't ceiling fans usually wired for 220? What should I do?

edit: Searched through my history. Why did I think ceiling vans were on 220 volt circuits? I was a lot dumber 9 years ago... I did end up hanging a lamp. No problems.
