I wonder about Harold Worst's 3c adventures after his 3c World Championship in Argentina.I have not found much in internet. He seems to become more a pool player at late 50's in 60's

Especially what did he do ,regardıng 3c between 1960-1966(the year he died)?

did he enter world cups or did he ever play against Ceulemans?

I presume he was a 'American oil' player-very very defensive despite of his awesome talent.

any information would be highly appreciated.

I've wondered the same thing. Worst won the 1954 world's professional 3C championship held in Buenos Aires. There were no more world's championships held after that for many years, so Worst officially held the title. The BCA Hall of Fame says he "successfully defended this title for many years". I haven't seen anything about any of these title defenses.

I doubt if Worst ever played Ceulemans. For one thing, he died in 1966. Ceulemans had started his long winning streak by then, but the games were all played in Europe (and maybe Japan?). Worst had by then turned to pool. He won the Johnston City and Stardust all-around titles in 1965, a year before his death from cancer.

There is interesting stuff on Worst in Freddy's Gospool and Bob Byrne's McGoorty. Freddy thought Worst was "the most phenomenal human playing pool that ever breathed", and he meant pool, not billiards. McGoorty said "with a few more years of competition he would have broken all the records", and he meant billiards, not pool.

As far as his playing oil, here is McGoorty again: "I can remember sitting in my chair watching him shoot, marveling at what the young ***** was doing to me. It was as if he had a ring in my nose and was leading me around, saying 'Now, old man, you are going to shoot from over here, and next time you are going to shoot from over there. I had to admire him'."
