Has anyone ever split a mezz pro H shaft

Hello all I have a Mezz Kai with a pro H shaft with the diamond wood core and this weekend at a tournament I was breaking on a bar box and split the shaft perfectly center through the Samsara tip and about 8 inches down the shaft. Has anyone else had this problem and if so will Mezz stand behind it and who should I contact Thanks
 
I had 1 I just sold on mezz pro break I used for about 3 years never had that problem. I got mine used as well so not sure who to contact.

Does the shaft still have the white fiber pad after the tip was changed?
 
If you changed anything at all I doubt they will fix it under warranty.


I've been breaking with a Mezz Power Break II since they first came out using whatever shaft they had (or still have) back then and I've never had any problems at all.
Love the Mezz break cues.

At least the good thing with this is that you can always get another shaft from Mezz.
If it was a Predator you'd be out of luck.

I started with the PB2 and then switched to the Kai I actually like the Kai more than i did the pb2 but thats just my opinion and Im really not against buying another shaft to be perfectly honest I dont see how its lasted as long as it has as im an extremely hard breaker Ive broken 4 head balls and a cue ball so far lol

I love the Kai too!
Just as good as the Power Break II.
I just like the taper more on the PB II and those weights there in the middle are great since it just adds weight to the cue and not all the weight is added to the very back.
The other thing I've learned to like is how it forces you to chock up on the grip in your breaks.

But, yes, the Kai is totally amazing. In my opinion it's splitting hairs between the two best break cues made.

I agree they are both great cues but my wife liked the pb2 because it was shorter so she stole it from me lol so I bought the Kai
