Has anyone heard of Mike Jefferson cues?

Is it me or does that leather wrap look like funny.
Like there is no groove cut into the handle and the leather is just wrapped over the wood.

I have never heard of a Mike jefferson cue but it looks like a KC Cue that someone has added a leather wrap to. If you take a close look at the leather wrap you will see that it sits way higher in the wrap groove than it should. There is a very noticeable lip where the wrap meets the forearm and where it meets the butt sleeve.

Don't want to see others get screwed

I recently bought one of the cues and it is not very good quality. I asked the cuespecialist to let me talk to the person who made the cue. Of course, he does not reply to that. He mentioned Mike is from Seattle and I tried contacting different pool halls and no one has heard of him. The wrap job is so bad that it either causes the cue butt to wobble or it is actually warped. Not 100% sure though if it is warped. I have entered a dispute through paypal, but I probably will get screwed though. I am not sure if the cue specialist really advertised correctly, but hopefully we will find out the truth and publish it so others don't get screwed. I gave the person some time to come up with a solution and now it is time to take action. It is advertised to be a $900 retail cue, which I would not pay with teh poor quality fo the work. I asked one of the workers at Parrot Cues and his reply was the cue wrap was crappy, and it does not have a straight butt, and the cue did not appear to be new as advertised.

I want to get the word out so no one else gets screwed...........

Wow! That is exactly my take on it, too! KC cue. And the wrap is a joke, either the channel is not deep enough, or possibly there's not one. Probably a KC cue that had a linen wrap, dude replaced it with a bad leather wrap job without cutting the channel deeper. Either way - stay away! JMHO
