Has anyone seen James Waldon lately?

I have had a couple of people ask me about James Waldon
lately, and I haven't heard anything about him for some time.

I know he is playing large where ever he is, has anyone
seen him out there somewhere?

James is still living in OKC. I saw him at a tournament I played in NW Arkansas in April or May, can't remember exactly which month. Playing good and looking.... well, looking like waldon! :)

He's still playing very well, got in the money at this particular 9-Ball tournament. I think Gabe won it, JJ second and James was third, also second in a MWTour 1P in Tulsa back in March. Gabe, winner there again! LOL Getting pretty regular to see that, isn't it!

Anyways, James is in Oklahoma City and wanders out to play tournaments or matchups on a regular basis.

You mean Gabe beat his friend and mentor, JJ!!! ... lol
I have a lot of respect for Waldon's game, and he doesn't have to
be 2nd to anyone. He is a very smart player.
What a lot of people will miss about Gabe is that he has a natural
type of finesse to his game, which you begin to pick up on the
more you watch him play, and probably leaves a lot of guys thinking,
"Boy, he can play better than I thought he could" .... lol
