For a while Brian Bonner (aka Forum Member Rangercap), Nittnay Leather, and I had been communicating about me ordering one of Brian?s Envelope Style 2 x 4 Cue Cases.
During the process Brian even sent some leather samples, so I could see the actually color, and thickness of the English Bridle Leather? I was considering. I chose, English Bridle Leather in Dark Brown for my Case.
Finally the money was sent for the Case order on October 31, 2007, I was promised 8 weeks for delivery from Brian, the Case arrived on January 7, 2008.
Must say Brian packs his finished Cases for war, and I could not believe how well the Case was protected for the trip cross country via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail.
Considering mailing time for the payment to reach Brian, and the Case to reach me, it was just 8 weeks when I got the order Case.
Brian & I communicated several times during the process as there were a couple of things Brian need to clarify. Plus about six weeks after payment was received, I sent Brian an e-mail asking for a progress report, and was told the Case would be done in a week or two. It was done in the promised two weeks.
When the Case was shipped Brian supplied me with TRACKING Information so I could see when delivery was scheduled. Dealing with Brian was great.
I would rate Brian's workmanship great, his attention to deal in his leather work great, communications/customer service great, and I love the way the single pocket in the Case is easy to access, and it is fully line.
If any of you are looking for an Envelope Type Case please consider Brian, as I his prices are more than fair, for something that should last a reasonable lifetime.
The Case pictured below is a 2 x 4, it has one pocket approx. 18? long x 4? wide, and 1.5? deep, (will hold about anything a player needs to carry) has suit case carry type carry handle, shoulder strap, and pad.
