Hello & an Oval Table

Hello everybody in the carom forum, haven't posted over here till now. By my forum name, you might think I'm lost.....but actually, other than 1pocket, 3c is the only other game that I love to play - and I've been playing it for 35 years - at a decent level.

Anyway, that said, the real reason that I posted tonight was to share this vintage video that "Kirschstrasse" was nice enough to post on to youtube. I'ts a tape of billiard shots being made by Charles Peterson on an OVAL SHAPED billiard table.....for any that haven't seen it, let me just say that it is wild - some of the shot's that he makes in the last minute or so, are really crazy - talk about railroad shots!......I'll bet Semih Sayginer would have some fun on this table... I actually posted that one, too last week. Was that just a gimmick table or was that actually in common use at some point? I never heard about that kind of table before. Actually looks pretty fun - those shots where the ball rolls all around the table
