I have a helmstetter Tj 25 that I originally bought as an investment, but now i'd like to see it. This cue has seen only a few racks of balls if that. i just hate the idea of having a cue that i won't play with , because of the collector value. I'd like to sell this one and buy me a really sharp looking and playing custom cue.
This cue has very nice intricate tulip wood and holly inlays, and has a hit like no other, which I belive is contributed to the deep wood pilot into the stainless joint.
This is immaculate and has no nicks, dings,or dents anywhere. this cue rolls straight both assembled and apart. I'm not exactly sure about the weight, but I'd guess it to be right around 19oz.
I'll try to post my pictures here, but in the event I'm unable, please, feel free to email or pm me, and I'll be glad to send some pics.
Bird'seye maple forearm with six stylized tulipwood hexagons between the pointseach inlaid with a black bordered mother of pearl dot, six ebony points with a white diamiond shaped holly inlay in each, ebony butt sleeve with six stylized tulipwood hexagons set over long maple bars each inlaid with a black bordered mother of pearl dot alternating with six white holly inlays between white ringsat the top and bottom.
Can be seen in the bluebook of cues 1st editon on page 91.
