Help creating a custom jump/break cue

Hello. I have a very specific jump/break cue I need to have constructed. But I am having difficulty finding someone who is up for the task because of how complex the project is. Does anyone here know of someone who can help make my jump/break cue come to life? Any suggestions will be helpful. I am in Connecticut so it will be really helpful if I can find someone in the same state as me. If someone on this forum can help me connect with someone I will be very appreciative. I already have the sketch and measurement of what I want my pool cue to look like. My budget for this cue is $2,500. There is no time limit on when I need the pool cue to be done by. Feel free to private message me or comment if you can help me out. Thank you.

Tell us more about your design and what you want. 2.5K for a jump/break cue, should get you something quite special..

Ok, that clarifies a lot. There's essentially 3 ways to accomplish your goal:
1. Automotive finish (like Predator uses)
2. White natural or thermoset material.
3. Using Holly with a heavy core material like Purpleheart or Jatoba.

The problem however is that I still want the wood grain to be prominent

Ok so you have narrowed it down to Holly then. It's a wood with very little grain structure though. It has historically been used as a ivory substitute or for small pieces, but you can make a cue from Holly, it just needs to be worked slow as Holly moves quite a bit.

I have been trying to research on how to get wood with prominent wood grain to be white and the only thing I could find that I like was this image
McDermott G-Core Performance Shafts 3/8x10 Black Collar / 13mm

That's maple, probably a picture taken with flash and it's far from white, but if you are happy with the natural colour of maple, you have a lot more options.

I'm happy with slightly off white as well.
Maple will have more of a yellow hue, but if grain is what you want, maple can have some amazing figure. Do a search for quilted or tiger striped maple and you'll get a lot of hits to aid you with inspiration.

I'm guessing this guy is a troll. But fwiw some types of pine are almost white, and you can also bleach wood to whiten it

I am not a cue maker, I have painted for over 35 years. I feel like you could thin some white paint way down and spray the maple with it and let it soak in. Kinda like a old white wash effect and the grain would still be very visible, even with 2 thin coats you should see wood grain. Anyways just a thought, hope this may help someone.
