I tried to put a moori on my cue (that I got today) and got some sort of super typle glue gel all over the IVORY ferrule.

It looks like hardened snot any ideas as to hw to get it off (the glue not the ferrule)

I suppose the one with acetone as my wife uses the soft shit.

I tried it but I'll get the hardcore.

Yes, it is the acetone that does the removing. Use a Q-tip or the corner of a terry cloth and dab it on.
 
Dont take this the wrong way

I would suggest taking it to a professional if you got glue all over the ivory ferrule what does the tip look like? Sometimes its better to have a qualified person do the work! Theres nothing worse than messing up a expensive cue trying to save a buck!.........My 2 cents anyway........Dave

Guess I got ahead of myself just couldnt stand the GUook on my cue
 
Nearest qualified pro probrably 2 hours away, thought the guy heling was qualified hes owned the poolroom since the 60's he was just scared of the ivory and my glaring over his shoulder.

I shoulda known when he said what the hell is a moori I got a boxfull of elk master
 
You should have had alarm bells going off in your head!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When he didnt know what a moori was, you should have hit the door running....That 2 hr drive probably sounds pretty good right about now:) :) :) ...Dave

Go to a hobby supply store and buy some Super Glue Remover.
It will not harm the Ivory but it will desolve the hardened super glue.
