help id this case?

here's a real nice case that came with a cue i purchased. previous owner knew nothing about it. it's really nice leather, and the unusual thing is that it starts out round at the bottom and ends up oblong at the top. the top comes off with brass spring latches on both sides, and it has a rooster engraved on the case side of each of the latches. pics attached, thanks in advance.

I saw a few of these back in the 70's...not sure of the manufactuer.

If memory serves, Brunswick used to make a model with a hasp like that, before they went to the centennial case.....I could be wrong.
