Help Identifying Joss Cue

I Picked up this Joss fairly cheap with intentions of maybe using it as a break cue. Can anyone help as far as to the approximate yr it was made? what wood ? was used?
I did email Joss the only thing they could say was no serial # made before 97 and that's all they could do to help.
Well there is definitely no serial number, any help would be appreciated!

In the 80's I think. The gold letter series on the shafts.
The Butt, I would say is different than the shafts because of where the Logo is.

The change came in 1983 I think

Shafts I'd say late 80's, the butt is probably from about 96 if my memory serves on that logo.
