help in table id please

i got this table from a church in 1987 that didn't want it any longer, and it has seen my kids grow to adulthood. it was probably 20 years old when i got it.it's no mahogany and ivory antique brunswick, but it's good for another 20+ years. the ball return system has a hinged piece from the pocket liners that has dried up and cracked or broken over the years. i need to know what brand the table is and try to get some replacement parts if available.

it is an 8' table, plywood frame, wood grain formica rails, legs, skirts, and a 1" thick one-piece slate top. no name or brand anywhere, underneath, metal parts, not a clue. i'll attempt to attach a couple of pics.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Larry, I am no an expert telling who built it, what kind it is, and or how old.
I think you should contact PTM, here on AZ. he might help.

blud, you're reading my mind. i was hoping pooltablemechanic would know just by looking at it.
 
Gotham? LOL.....No clue what name it could be. Alot of companies made similar tables......with that HEAVY A$$ SLATE! LOL! Only name I really remember seeing on one was Gotham! But Sears made a table like that.
Does it have any markings at all? Look underneath somewhere.
 
As far as replacement parts....your probably gonna have to make something yourself. Finding replacement part for that table will be tough!
 
PTM, no markings anywhere, i can't even find the holes for a long gone nameplate. i guess it will have to remain a mystery and i'll have to fabricate something myself. i'll see what i can find out about gotham tables,though.

talk about heavy ass slate - that's why i got it for free, the church couldn't find anyone to move it, until i came along. luckily they had a loading dock, but then it took 6 of us to get it into my basement. i read somewhere that 1" thick by 4'x8' slate would be about 900 lbs.
 
It seems like 900...I think they are around 700. We have turned down a few of those free tables so not to have to move those things.
