Hi!

I own an Joss cue that i bought at Ebay Germany. It looked pretty old to me and had that "limited" logo on the but. So i went on and wrote an email to Dan Janes who was really nice (!!!) and wrote an email back to me. He said he made "about 10 of this model cue" in the early 90`s.
Specificly interesting to me was the "canvas based phenolic joint". By the way... the shaft is MUTCH softer than a usual Joss shaft.

Well with or without the fact that there are no inlays in the foream, i think its a collectable cue! Especially by considering the limited edition, the special look of the cue (don`t know which wood this is) and the rarely used joint by Joss (never seen it before)!

Well.... i already wrote a thred in a german forum but i think right here are more people that know what they are talking about.

So what do you think about that cue?
What could it be worth?

I would be very glad and appreciated about some answers!

Thanks and greetings from Germany, Markus

I would think IMO $300 to $450 range.
I would say the same....the older Joss cues seem to hover right around there. It's kinda cool, though, that this cue has "Joss" stamped on the end of the joint pin. I've never seen that before.

Then again...if you find the right buyer/collector, you could pull upwards of 550 for it...since it's a 1 of 10.

Nice cue. Good find.

Theres been one on Ebay for ever that hasn't sold. I'll try to find the link.

Although this is a short run cue with only 10 made, the word "Limited" is confusing. Joss Cues is/was called Joss Ltd. or Joss Cues Ltd. That's part of their name.

I don't know if the "Limited" in your cue was because only a few were made, or because the company at the time was putting the "Limited" part of their name on the cues. Anyone?
