Help - looking for a cue with....

I?m looking for a cue either custom or production with a few must specs.
Balance point 19.75-20 inches. Weight 19.25-19.5 oz. As thin as possible.
Under $1,500.

Hope somebody knows someone who can make a cue to those specifications.

Just a thought. Although someone in the market for a $1500 cue may not be satisfied with a $150 cue, Schmelke can make a cue with any specifications you want. They did so for me. They'll custom taper it, custom balance it, whatever. What I'm suggesting is that if you aren't absolutely sure if you'll like a custom cue with your specs, buy a Schmelke with those specs as a trial cue. They'll probably get it back to you within 4 weeks.

Schmelke cue as a test, that's good idea. Flex suggested the same. In my case the only expensive thing would be that I would want an OB-1 on it.

However, I do have a relatively thin Hampton cue with a balance point at 20.25".

I happened to have just ordered another cue from Schmelke today. I'm going with Schmelke until I know exactly what I want. I use a 62" Schmelke now with a finely altered balance point and thinly tapered butt. I made a mistake by going with the bare wood joint. Athough the cue plays nicely, I don't like the sound of the hit. So for another $140 or so I'll have a different trial cue.
This time I'm going with a steel joint, 12mm, 1/2" ferrule, european taper, and an East Indian rosewood thin-tapered butt. A custom cue builder here advised me that the East Indian rosewood Schmelke has is very very old and nice. Schmelke confirmed this. Their stock has been aging for 20 years.
