Help needed to identify a pool table, brand and model.

Hi there, a buddy of mine got the below table from his grandfather who bought it 1949 used. Can you help us identify the table maker? Would be a huge help.

I'm not knowledgeable, but the shape looks familiar. I thought it was like a Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co logo. But, a quick look tells me the shape was not trademarked, as A. E . Schmidt and some lesser known brands used the same shape.

Someone will ask the correct questions and help you figure it out.
 
At first glance it looked like a Brunswick plate for me too but you can't be sure what they used at what decade. They did not all look to the same over the years.

Still keeping my fingers crossed we can identify the table.
 
You might post a link in the Mechanics Forum to this thread. Those guys are scary good with knowledge.

Seeing how they made at least 75%+ of all the tables back then it probably is a B'wick. Might send pics to Derrick at Billiard Restoration or Ken at Classic Billiards. Both know a LOT about these old tables.
