Hi all,
I live in Italy and I'm willing to buy a nice 9ft pool table for my home.
Brunswick table are very rare here in italy, I've found a classified with a table that seems like a Brunswick Gold Crown, althoug the seller doesn't state any brand or model in the description... Maybe he doesn't even know!

I need your help to identify the table, is it a gold crown? if yes what model?
Is it a good table? seller is asking 1700€ = about 1700$ ...

Here are the pics of the table:

Table

Yeah buddy, that appears to be a GC3.
Cesare is the only table mechanic in Italy that won't butcher a GC.
He is located in villa passo.
I highly suggest you get ahold if him if you want your GoldCrown set up or play well and not have bad install issues show up in the future.

So its a gc 3... Thought it was a gc 2 because of the Brunswick logo which seems enlayed vs brass.
Anyway is it a solid table? Pockets are 4.75 i suppose, i will shim them to 4.5.
What do you think of the price of 1700 $?

Thanks for the tip about the installer, I'm very surprised that you do know a mechanich in Italy! Will try to get in touch with him

Cesare travels a large area servicing pool tables. You can contact him via cell phone or whatsApp messenger.
He can extend the subrails to tighten the pockets, you'll want to stay away from stacking shims in sake of the pocket response of non desirable pocket play and rattle.

He will take good care of you, Cesare might have a table in the warehouse that interest you.
Call him and discuss your needs.

Tell him his good ol' friend the owl says hello.

Ps.
The GC2 had the bigger scorekeepers and did not have bronze trim.

As far as the price to me that sounds more than fair if they are not very common in your part of the world. That price would be in the range of what they sell for over here in the US. I am not sure which commercial tables are popular in your area or what they sell for but I do not think there are many better tables than a Gold Crown. This is not relevant to your question but do you happen to be near Monza, San Marino, or Fiorano?

Yeah Brunswick are very rare, actually this is the only used gold crown I've found in all the country!

I am located in Sicily, very far from monza and the rest of Italy... why do you ask? :)

Just curious because I am (was) a big F1 fan and Italy is the cathedral of F1 with Monza, Imola, Fiorano, and of course Ferarri.
