i have been mulling over buying a certain Capone or a certain Cognoscenti..........the worst part of it all is that i have sold all my cues and i am planning on holding on to this cue as my fulltime player...... btw i like a stiffer hit.

any comments, opinions on the hit of each cue vs. eachother etc, would be MUCH appreciated!

well thanks for all the input! :) all jokes aside i am going to go with the cog.....if anyone wants a review that has never played with one let me know in this thread and i will write one.

You can't go wrong with a Cognoscenti. I had one and really liked it. The reason I didn't respond earlier was that you wanted a comparison and I have no experience with Capone.

Unless Mr. Gold has changed things, his cues are all 57.5 inches long and the shafts are 13 1/8 mm. Although they are nicely balanced, I wouldn't consider them foreward balanced. These are some of the things that may or may not make a difference to you.

His workmanship is top notch and his cues have a very good resale value.
