help please

I ran my first league and tournament in 1966. From my experience, the pay-off that brings the most entrants back is one out of four places. Generally, 50% of prize money for first, 25% second, etc. If you have added prize money, pay out more places. If it's an event in which entrants travel, you may want to pay more places. Just a general suggestion. Hope this response generates more comments.
