Help selecting CF shaft diameter

I'm looking to get a Pechauer Rogue CF shaft (I already have a Pechauer cue and want to keep the butt). How do I choose between the 11.8, 12.4, 12.8 diameters? I'm a strong 6 in APA and this would be my first CF shaft. From what I understand, the narrower the tip, the more english but it requires more precision to hit correctly. But that doesn't help me determine, given my skill level, which is the best option. Any guidance?
 
I think most players kind of go with a middle size -- in your example, the 12.4. I have both a Revo 12.4 and 12.9 and routinely play with both of them.
 
What size shaft are you currently using? Do you like the size or do you want bigger or smaller? 12.4 is a good middle of the road point.
