Help! >> Showood/Showwood Tables

My mother is looking for a table to put in her and her husband's basement. A local guy is selling a table, she described it to me as a "Showood or Showwood" 8' with 2 piece slate bottom.

Anyone have any idea if they are a good brand of table?

Any table mechanics out there know if they hold up well?
