There are at least two telltale signs that the set on the left was made in China.

The set on the right was made by The Albany Billiard Ball Co. of Albany, NY and was referred to as the Hyatt "Supreme."

Using a box to identify a set of balls is not always a foolproof method.

These came with my first table back in 2000. I'm cleaning out my game room cabinets and found these in the back. The set on the left has what appears to be the Aramith logo on the cue ball, and both are in Aramith boxes. But I have 2 sets of Centennials that are in Aramith boxes also. Go figure.

Thanks for the info. Boxcar, much appreciated.
