I'm almost positive this is an Asian cue, not a Schmelke.

The joint was used in the 70s with branded Brunswick cues.

Value, really not much. I wouldn't buy it for any more than $5, and only if the shaft was straight.

Brunswick & Schmelke both had that same joint connection
Schmelke still has it available, but that cue is an imported Brunswick
