Help with Viking Cue ID?

Howdy all,

Recently snagged this very nice vintage Viking on eBay for a song & am at wits end trying to find the model and year it was made. I looked at hundreds of pics of Viking cues online and nothing. I tried the Viking catalog archive page at their website, but when I selected a catalog, it told me I needed to allow popups. I did this for this site only and no change. I'm sure others have had the same issue... Anyhoo, the cue has 3 points with red/black and white veneers, a white with red speck wrap & an abundance of ringwork as you can see. I could find no other Viking that had so many rings, especially at the butt. It has the Viking within an oval and USA just below logo. It also has an older style domed bumper. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks - Mike

If you go to the Viking website, you can look for old catalogs. I do recall my Viking that I got in 1991 had the same logo.

Might try the Viking FB page or just contact them directly. Chk'd a few catalogs of the oval-logo's and didn't see this one. Could be a D-series, that's the only oval-logo catalog they don't list.
