Helping out a youth center. Need Cheap Cloth

A friend of mine told me about a youth center that is in my town the other day that was looking for volunteers and people to help run a tournament. They had 2 snooker tables that were donated to them by a locals seniors center. There is cloth for one of them, but the other one has none. I found a local guy that will basicly level and install cloth for basicly free ($45 cdn) but i need to find some ultra cheap or find someone to donate some playable used cloth. i need it for a 6 x 12 foot snooker table. Can anyone help me out? Or point me in the right direction to find some cheap cloth <$200cdn.
 
They don't really make a cheap cloth.......but we use a Mali cloth on bar tables, which you can get in different weights ( thicknesses really ) and with or with a backing. Or Champion makes regular weave cloths too. I am sure they have sites.

I guess I should finish reading the whole post before I respond..... :D
Didn't see the 12' part. That could be a problem to find cloth wide enough, the standard cloths don't come wide enough to do a 12' table. I will check a few catalogs and things to see who makes cloth for 12' tables.

The problem im having is finding it!! I can't find it anywhere!! Every site only sells cloth big enough for 10' tables. Anyone know wherei can get something for a 12 footer?
 
Simonis I know does..........but that is gonna be high. Not sure exactly....but I think just the cloth for a 12' here in town we do cost almost 300! The guy at the pool room there buys his own cloth and we do them, so not sure exactly.....but it seems like he said it was almost 300.....just for the cloth!
 
That's still a little high. Around here i have been phoneing around looking for some cloth and the cheapest price so far wass $600cdn!!! Good god, i aint gonna pay that much. You guys wouldnt happen to have an old cloth lying around the shop that isnt totally worn out yet would you? Maybe something with a small rip that could be repaired. Let me know, Thanks.

Do you know who made those tables? Big companies donate stuff all the time; it's tax deductable. It's worth a letter, maybe.
 
I looked it up and for the Simonis 760 it is 340.00 plus shipping.
Not sure where you are, but around here the city runs the centers like that. And they have monies for things like this. Check with who ever runs the center and see if they can get approved for the money for the cloth.........doesn't have to be from us.....you might can find it cheaper.........but since the tables were donated.........not a bad price for for aliitle more than 300 for a 12' snooker table!
