This case was really fun to build! It was a pleasure working with our customer to bring his 'trademark' vision to life. Some of you may be familiar with the design; there have been several high end items built with this warning..."Here I come to get the cheese!"
It is hand stitched of premium Buttero vegetable tanned leather from the Walpier Tannery in Tuscany, Italy. The Mighty Mouse is hand carved and painted while we employed the laser engraver on the lettering. The remainder of the case features a unique handstamping pattern. It is built around our linen lined tubes.
Instead of painting on his "skin tone," we were able to leave his face and ear the natural color of the leather. We chose to accent with natural leather at the base and cap, as well.
