Heyball handicaps

YouTube has Pehlivanovic playing a junior at Heyball. Like his game so I click it on. His first break makes both second balls...and whitey.

Kid comes to the table, and pockets a solid. Referee say something to shooter, he points to a ball on the rail and ref removes it.

Last time I watched a handicapped heyball match, it was Tang, and her handicap was removing the last ball of her set.

Does anyone know if the difference is because the junior is a junior or he is male versus the "female" rule?

Later in the video, the junior breaks dry. Sanjin comes to the table, and pockets a solid. Ref stopped match so kid could pick which ball he wanted removed

Never seen that before

I know you watch the Chinese game. The change, if it is a change, will change things for female competitors.

in theory there's no disadvantage for women in pool except for the break. this handicap is after the break and makes no sense to me. let them break half a diamond closer instead
