Looking for a trade...
I'm a (hobby) call maker and have collected quite an array of burls/woods through the years. One of my "scores" was some Hickory burl. I didn't cut long sections as it was for calls. If it's value isn't enough to make it worth my while, I'd just a'soon keep it for calls. (I see desireable burls going for $12 an inch, I'm thinking a little more than 1/2 that?) That being said I'd be interested in a trade for a nice solid hitting custom sneaky pete with Ivory for the ferrule & on the heavier side of average(19.5-20 oz) Really want something on the sneaky side. Wood to wood joint, Possibly Coco?, (I don't like purple heart) something that really looks like an old wall cue to the novice. What do you say would there be any interest in some kind of trade? I have some nice Black Locust burl and some crotch & burl Black walnut also. Low ball offers will just be ignored. Don't waist your time & mine. I'm looking for a honest deal for both.
A few pieces I've turned round. (This is only what I've turned I have a couple about 10" long but square) Keep in mind it is burl some voids and checking is in there... I will show detailed pics to anyone serious. You will know what you're getting.
