Today I picked up my first cue from Darrin Hill. I'm not normally a person who writes reviews, but I had such a great experience that I had to share. From the time I contacted him to design my cue to the time I picked up he provided constant updates. When I actually picked up my cue at his shop he was very professional and helpful. He took time to answer all my questions and even installed new tips on my other shafts. I played with my new cue tonight and absolutely love the hit and feel of it. Needless to say I will be ordering more cues from him.

Yep. He did a complete refinish on my 1940's Willie Hoppe cue. (It was a mess) New bumper, new Hoppe ring, thinned down the handle, new leather wrap, new joint, complete refinish and perfectly matched an OB shaft to the cue so it looks like it was made with the cue.

And it was PERFECTLY done. I'm a little picky, so I was not expecting much since I never worked with him before, but HOLY COW. There is nobody on the planted that could have done a better job, they might have been able to match him, but you can't do better !!
