This means that the materials and construction method used is optimized for the function. A player exerts less effort performing shots with a solid cue compared to a sub-optimal cue. A solid cue is advantageous in a game where "touch/feel" is a major factor in performing at a higher playing level. Plus, not needing to expend as much energy in performing shots develops the players "feel" for a shot or the subtle degrees of force needed to perform a shot which also makes it less tiring to use compared to a lesser quality cue.Skeezicks said:What do you mean by solid?
