Hohmann wins! 17-10

You would be suprised at how much "unknown" cue talent is in Germany. I belonged to a private billiard club in Germany that competed all over the country against the locals. I was one of three Americans in a German dominant club and on their team. I've played against Germans who would shock many of the top American players of today! I've seen guys run 5-8 racks with ease, finish a 14.1 match to 100 with a score of 100+ -under 20, and finish in less than 4 innings, running racks of 40, 50 and even 62 (the highest I've witnessed). The Germans have a strong Billiard program, very professional, gentlemen, very organized and even has sponsors. I played with the Germans for just over a year, the best pool experience I've had yet and the best time playing!

Maybe he will honor us with his presence at the US Open. His winnings since 2001 are not very impressive. Does that mean that he lost a lot of tournaments? Or just that he didn't enter many tournaments? Jake
