Just checked out after seeing Sarah's post on who she plays. We'll be there friday.....

It looks like they're doing that funky format like they did last year. The final 16 play single elimination and all the matches will be televised.

That would be great CheffJeff I would love to meet fellow az'rs. I am not familiar with the area but I know the casino probably would have a place to meet and greet.

Only 8th place and above will be televised. I don't really like the single elem, but I do like the extra TV spots. :D

BTW..brackets are updated! :) Thank you so much Kelly O! Just so you know, I dreamed about Peoria a few weeks ago and I dreamed that the brackets were updated as quickly as they have been so far. And in my dream, Kelly, you were disappointed that everyone complained when the brackets were updated slowly, but you got no props when they were on point. Well here you are:

Home...I had some conflicts that won't allow me to be there until LATE Friday/EARLY Sat. (As the plan sits now, LOL). My messenger is to give you my apologies. Hopefully you will still be there on Sat...then when my sista has a break from the TV lime light she can find the time to introduce us...IF the stardom hasn't gone to her head. ;)
 
I noticed that Rachel Abbink is there. The last I heard, she was "suspended" from WPBA tourney's for a yr because of her no show in Vegas. I was standing right next to the person she told that to so it wasn't exactly 2nd hand info. :confused: I'm glad for her because the last I heard, she was trying to get her touring pro status but I thought she was going to have to wait??

Hey Timberly,

Not showing up for a an event is HUGE to the WPBA. I also heard Vegas wasn't her first no-show.

I never did hear what her reason was for not showing up. Maybe her excuse was acceptable to the WPBA??? Something happend cause she's definitely playing...
 
Rachael put a poor show.Rachael ,I know, could play much better than what she did yesterday.She is 2 and out.first loss to Janet Atwell and the second was to a lady from a town close to Seatle,washington who came thru Qualifiers.
