Home Depot - Terlet And Six Billiard Balls

I just happened to stumble across something that I thought was quite unusual on Tuesday. I stopped at Home Depot on my way to the high school tournament games and just happened to walk down the aisle where they sell toilets. Or as they say on Sanford & Son - terlets. The ad said this terlet could flush six billiard balls because it had that much flushing power.

I thought that was odd. Unique perhaps. Anybody else see this?

That’s the Ferguson 5000! Other wise known as the Turd Ferguson or TurdFurg. This toilet makes two flushers a thing of the past. You should hear it in action, “BAWOOSH!”

I think I have one of those, but if I remember right it said it could flush 20 something golf balls. So one time my company sends me a dozen boxes of ProV logo balls and you could just see the light going off in my kids heads. I actually had to hide the damn things just to be sure.

I wonder if it's the same American Standard we bought a few years ago that claimed 12 golf balls? We don't have any complaints.

I’ve seen it advertised that it could flush Golf balls, never pool balls. I highly doubt that’s possible, not even one.
The This Old House crew visited a toilet factory, one of the things they test with is ping pong balls, I guess they are difficult to flush because they float. Thats a little too much information for me, if you know what I mean.
